Each granite desk/pillar headstone is made from a single, solid piece of polished black granite, measuring 30x20x15cm.
The clever shape means it can be placed in either a desk (lower) or pillar (higher) orientation. The inscription is engraved directly into the stone and it appears pale grey against the polished black surface of the stone.
